  1.Scratch off the code covering from the card.
  2.Enter the following shortcut including the asterisks: * 104 * plus16-digit code #
  3.Press the 'talk" button (icon of handset).

• Your Phone Number :
  You will have a German phone number. Pandasim will email you your phone number the day that we receive your order or the next business day. Your phone number will also be clearly marked on your Pandasim packaging.

• Activation:
• There are two ways to activate service:
  
  1. You can call the Hotline at 0800 000 6836 (from a landline within Germany) or, to activate the service prior to your departure from North America dial 011-49 180 501 0446 from 8: am-6: pm Monday-Friday.
  
  2. Visit the Ortel website at www.ortemobilel.de (select your language by clicking on the flag in the left menu). Click on 'Aktivierung' and the activation form will be in your selected language. This method is more practical as you will have a functioning phone upon arrival.
  
  Once you have gone through the activation process, it takes one hour for your SIM card to be activated.

• Service life:
• Your SIM card will be valid will be valid for 7 months from the last time credit was added. Each time you add credit the service life is extended by 7 months. After 6 months your outgoing credit will expire, but you will be able to receive calls for 30 days before your phone number expires.
